PUTCO LED Light Luminix 4" Pair With A-Pillar Brackets/Wiring Harness Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018

As you can see with our 2008 Wrangler, all we have is an LED windshield light bar. So there's a lot more room for more LED lighting on it, so today, we're gonna be installing this PUTCO Luminix A pillar LED light kit, fitting your 2007 to 2018 Jeep Wrangler. This kit comes with two, super bright, 4" LED lights with six LEDs on each, making it compact and extremely bright. They simply attach to the A-pillars with the provided brackets and all the wiring is also included. They're gonna give our Jeep some improved off-road visibility and a killer look. So today, we're gonna install it on our 2008 Jeep Wrangler.

Tools you'll need for this installation: A T-30 Torx bit, T-40 Torx bit, an extension, 3/8 ratchet, 7/16 wrench, 11 millimeter wrench, 3/16 hex key, and basic wiring tools.

This light kit's pretty straightforward to install. The brackets that come with the kit are gonna bolt right here on the A-pillar. Originally, it would be T-40 Torx bolts, but in our case, they're 13 millimeters. We're gonna remove these two bolts right here on the A-pillar. We're also gonna remove the T-30 Torx screws on both side of this cal so we can lift it up and run the wires. Grab the appropriate bracket and gasket for the side that you're working on and install it onto your A-pillar. Line it up with the holes and reinstall your factory hardware. We can now install our PUTCO light. We're gonna install it with a bolt and washer up top and rubber washer here. Put it through the bracket then install a washer and nut on the bottom. We're gonna use a 7/16 wrench and a 3/16 Allen key to tighten up the bracket to make this light stand up. Now you can use an 11 millimeter and 7/16 wrench to tighten this up. Okay. Now we can install the light on our passenger side.

All right. We have both lights installed on an A-pillar. Now it's time to wire it up. You can wire it up however you would like. The kit comes with this harness, but we're gonna hook ours up to our trigger system. Okay, we finished our wiring and we tested our light and they're clearly working. So now we're gonna reinstall our screws on the cal and fine tune our lights and then we're finished. All right. Our PUTCO A pillar LED lights are installed. They are incredibly bright. I'm super surprised at how bright they are. They're actually brighter than our headlights, which is just amazing because of how small they are. Installation wasn't too bad either. It should only take about 30 to 45 minutes and before you know it, you'll be heading off-road.
