This Headlight Power Upgrade Harness is tailored to handle higher wattage bulbs so you can have brighter headlights on your 1969 Mustang. Each plug on the harness has ceramic tips so it can hold today's hotter lights. This will help eliminate the 'blink of death' that you may experience with a factory headlight harness. This harness is fuse protected and also comes with an anti-corrosive leap plated treatment to prevent any rust or corrosion from occurring.

This harness is easily installed with its plug and play design as well as zero maintenance so you won't need to do any slicing and dicing. Created with extra-long, heavy gauge wiring and an extended length harness, you'll be able to more easily hide wires in your setup.

*This harness (EH-002) will also fit a 1967 Shelby with grill mounted headlights or a 1968 Mustang with a 1967 Shelby Front End.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great, Super Easy Install I bought these for my 1969 Mach 1 and couldn't be happier. There was plenty of length to the wires and I didn't have any problems installing them. One thing I should mention if you want to have all four headlights function for low AND high beam like it says in the description you have to change out the center high beam only bulbs for the duel beam kind normally used for the outside headlights. I used 4 Scott Drake High/Low beam Halogen bulbs (CJ Pony part #HL47) and all 4 lights function for low and high beam and are super bright.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great! This wiring kit is excellent and installs easily. The only issue I ran into was needing to extend the ground wire for the outer headlights to be able to have easier access to make a good ground connection. A ground could be made with the length given but I simply wanted better access to the connection. Along with installing this harness on my 69 I installed 4 new headlights with halogen bulbs and now it shines like a new car! Thanks CJ's!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Frustrating experience I bought this kit a month ago and while the quality of the fittings was great, there was not enough wire to extend the full distance. I had to lengthen the outer headlight ground wires and extend all the wires in the relay section of the loom to be able to mount them below the battery.

Hello, i just recieved this product in the mail and I had a question about the inner head lights. My two inner headlights have a plug with only two slots in it and because of this they do not fit into the plug of this product. How can I fix this issue?

Asked by: giov
You should still be able to plug it onto the headlight.

How does this integrate with both hight and low beams? looks like it just plugs into ONE existing headlight socket? how would it detect if highbeams are  on?

Asked by: schweigert85
The stock low beam socket has both high and low beams wired to them.

Will this work on a 1969 428 Cobra Jet car with factory Tach?  The wires and plug on my harness are sliced and diced from a previous owner. Can old headlights be used for a while until I can get all four new bulbs?

Asked by: Jholmes217
Yes, it will work on any 1969. Old headlights should be fine - this wiring is just strong enough to handle the increased power required by brighter lights - it doesn't require that you run them.

what kind of bulbs do I use 69 mustang with the upgrade headlight harness ?

Asked by: grasshopper
You can use many different types of bulbs. This harness gives you the flexibility to use higher wattage bulbs than the original harness could handle, opening things up to many new options.
