Steps to Replace 2015-2017 Mustang Key Fob Battery

Step 1: Push down on the key fob release to separate its front and back

Step 2: Wedge fingernail or blade in to separate further

Step 3: Use a coin in the top area to separate the top and bottom battery compartment

Step 4: Replace batteries and lock in place

Step 5: Reassemble

Step 1: Squeeze the push-button top to reveal key

Step 2: Insert coin to carefully pop off the back plate
