Rigid Industries LED Spot Light Dually PRO D-SS Side Shooter Pair

Today on CJ Off Road, we're going to show you how to brighten up the trail in your JK.

If you want to shoot a lot of light down the trail in your JK, then today we're going to be looking at these Rigid Industries dually side shooter pros, fitting your 2007 through 2018 Jeep Wrangler. Each Rigid Industry spotlights feature a dually light construction that also features a side shooter on the side of the lights. It offers 120 degrees of horizontal light coverage to really lighten up the trail at night. Diverse and compact, and can be pretty much put wherever you'd like. They include wiring harness as well as switch and mounting brackets, will make putting them on your vehicle extremely easy. Today we're going to get them installed on our 2008 Jeep Wrangler.

We're going to get the dually side shooter pros installed on our 2008 Jeep Wrangler, but to do so we had to get some brackets. We also got some brackets at our friends at Rigid Industries, and we're going to mount them onto the brackets before we put them onto our JK. We've got the side shooter flipped upside down, that way we can access the bolt mounting locations. Now, because we are using this bracket, we won't need to use the included bracket, but this is going to be great for a bumper or any other location to mount these lights. We slid the nuts into the back of the light and now we're going to place the bracket inside the grooves and put the bolts through.

Now, we're not going to tighten these bolts up all the way until we get our bracket mounted on the Jeep. That way we can still access these bolt holds that go in the windshield frame. We already have the two bolts removed on the windshield frame. We have aftermarket bolts, so they use regular hex heads. If you have the standard bolts in there, it's going to be a T30 torque bit to remove them.

Now that the lights are completely installed, we can tighten up the two Allen key bolts on the side to get them at the right height. Now, once we get all the hardware mounted up on this side, we're going to repeat the same process on the other side of the Jeep. There's a couple ways you can wire this up. We're going to use our trigger system, or you can use the included wiring harness.

We're about 10 feet away from the Jeep, and these lights are extremely bright. They throw off a ton of light to the side, the left and the right, and they'll be really great on the trail. The installation for these lights only took about an hour until you get them all wired up. You only need an Allen key to tighten up the sides of the lights, and you can use a bunch of other tools if you want to put them on any other area of your JK.
