Scott Drake Shock Tower Top Billet Pair 1967-1970 -Wondering if these might fit a Ford Maverick. Is it possible for you to provide measurements between the mounting holes?

Asked by: HarleyGA
The vendor has not provided any information regarding cross-fitments of this part to any other model then what is listed.

Is the fitment issue noted by all 3 reviewers fixed or should I just stay away from these?  They look nice but gotta fit!  Don't need shelf ware.

Asked by: GreginBoulder
I spoke to a Scott Drake Rep directly today. My issue is trying to use a Hotchkis Adjustable shock with the Scott Drake Aluminum Shock tower cap. I would have to modify the original cap to get the Adjustable shock to fit. So I purchased the Scott Drake version. Now I have to mill out the opening a 1/16 inch on both sides for the Shock to mount correctly. It's not slotted like other brands. The Original Shock Cap bolt holes to the Scott Drake Aluminum Version is off by almost an entire whole size. But I would be cautious to use a slotted shock with the aluminum version. There's not a lot of room for forgiveness if the bolt doesn't hold the shock in until they make the corrections. Just my opinion. But I can say they look amazing and the design is very smooth.
