Sequential LED Taillight Kit Ultra Bright 1970 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice lights! I have had these on my 70 for about a year now and just getting around to writing a review. On the first set I ordered, one had a damaged socket and wouldn't stay plugged in, the spring kept popping it back out. Dylan at CJ's was awesome and sent me out another set, he even tested them on a car he had there before he sent them! They are really bright and the sequentials work awesome. They do take some adjustment so take your time and be patient. Mine didn't work properly when I tested them just sitting in the light buckets in the trunk, I had to fully install them before they worked. Could be my 46 year old wiring or could be that the lights are grounded through the buckets.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be much better make This is the second unit I purchased. A very tight fit and had to repair the socket which was broken. I finally got them to fit and now installed my 70 horse. Keeping my fingers crossed they work properly. I have a complete new wire harness and the instructions only talk about the factory wiring. I have to had to contact American Wire to solve the hookup.

I ordered this part it all works good except for the sequentials, this is one of the reasons why I bought it. I didn't get any instructions with this part , and would like the factory specs so I can try to figure it out.

Hi, I installed this kit, and seems working well. And if I turn on the lights, it lights up in reduced intensity, which is correct, but it is no more flashing when turn signal activated. If I plug back a bulb, it is working. Could you advise how to solve

Asked by: Josse
Sounds like the flasher module is incorrectly wired.

I have just ordered this unit and will be installing it along with a 1970 updated American Autowire kit: Question is can you please advise as to what modifications Hambone had to do to get it to unit to fit and how to connect to new wiring harness?

Asked by: Theaxe55
Hambone would have to advise on that. It sounded like he was working with a different setup (a factory harness vs the American Autowire version, plus a broken socket). You'll be fine.
