Shaker Assembly Economy Mustang Big Block 390/ 428 1969-1970

Add aggressive looks and performance to your 1969-1970 Mustang with the addition of the all-new Economy Shaker Assembly! This Economy Shaker Assembly is designed to bolt up to any 1969-1970 Mustang equipped with a 390 or 428 big block engine and give a breath of fresh air to the appearance and performance of your favorite pony car!

The Shaker Scoop features a stealth-looking matte black finish, as opposed to the factory-correct semi-gloss black finish with silver-painted fins on top. On the bottom of the shaker scoop, holes are not pre-drilled to attach the scoop to the mid-plate. The fiberglass mid-plate is painted black and also does not come with holes pre-drilled for attachment to the fiberglass base.

The new fiberglass base is painted blue to resemble the factory base. Correct studs are molded to the base and nuts are included for mounting the base to the mid-plate. With the fiberglass base comes the addition of a snorkel delete plate, which is also painted blue. However, a snorkel hole is not cut into the Fiberglass Base.

Maintain a watertight seal around the shaker assembly from the rubber hood seal that comes with a drain tube that directs excess water to escape. Also, there is is a beautiful air cleaner assembly that comes with a new air filter element and a gorgeous chrome lid that sits inside of the fiberglass base and takes in cool, fresh air. This influx of cooler air helps increase the power, performance and overall output of your Mustang's 390 or 428 big block engine.

*Metal trim ring that mounts on the hood is NOT included.

*Hardware to attach the Snorkel Delete Plate and Shaker Scoop is NOT included and must be sourced.

Tech Tip: The Big Block Shaker Assembly Sits about a 1/2" lower than the Small Block Shaker Assembly, so the Big Block Shaker Assembly may also be used on 289, 302 or 351C small block engines when a high rise intake is used.
