This hard folding Tonneau Cover was designed to perfectly fit your 2015-2017 F-150 with its double-sided vinyl with a texture black finish for a nice look and durability. It features a weather-tight gasket seal with a durable and light-weight aluminum frame and top that can support up to 350 pounds. It's going to give our truck a sleek look with added security and protection. So, today we're actually going to install it on our 2016 F-150.
All right, so we're back at the bed of the truck and the first thing you're gonna wanna do is just take this right out of the box. It comes pre-assembled, so just set this on the bed and then we're gonna center this up and get it fitted right. Push this all the way up towards the cab. This thing is so easy to install. There's two clamps up front to attach the front of the cover. Why don't you come down here and I'll show you how to do it.
You're gonna rotate this aluminum piece to get the lip underneath the bed. And it's going to go up like this and clamp to the bed and that's how it secures. So to make it tight, you have to tighten this little turn knob to make it tight. Now, we're gonna get it snug right now. We're not gonna make it super tight just in case we need to make some adjustments. Okay, that's tight enough for now. We're going to go on to the other side and tighten the other side. Okay. That's good enough for now. Now, we'll move towards the tailgate.
Simply unfold the bed cover. There's two clamps on the back of this bed cover. We have to tighten these just like we did the two up front. Twist and handle on the clamp to make it tight. Line it up with the bed, pull down on the handle to lock it in place. Okay, our tailgate closes. Our installation is pretty much finished. We just have to fold this back up and re-tighten the front clamps. When folding up the cover, it's important to lock the clamps in this notch right here or you might damage the cover. And we can attach these buckles to the clips to secure it in place. All right, it's nice and tight now.
All right, our Tonno pro Hard Tonneau Cover's installed. I was extremely surprised with how easy it was to install. It came pre-assembled right out of the box. You don't need any tools to install it. It gave our truck a bit more protection and a nice, sleek look. Figured less than 30 minutes to install it, and before you know it, you'll be heading off road.
