Action Artistry Chrome Radio Surround Highlight for all 2005-2009 Mustangs with the Shaker Radio System.

This piece gives a real nice highlight to the standard Shaker Radios of the 2005-2009 Mustangs. The radio is inserted into a square hole in the console and is not flush. Action Artistry's radio surround highlight fits perfectly around the radio and uses the step as a framing point.

Beautiful, full rounded billet aluminum insures that an exceptional luster is given from any angle. This is made from quality 6061 T6 billet aluminum, precision CNC machined, then decorative polished and triple chromed.

NAV System and this Piece

The ad says for Shaker Radio system, but if you have the NAV system it will also work. My concern was would the NAV system open without this chrome piece blocking it or would it get in the way: no it doesn't.

As some wrote, this stuff will not stick as is. As a matter of fact, the panel is not flat and there is not enough tape to hold the resulting tension. I unscrewed the panel, which is not that difficult, bought double sided 3M tape and adhesion promoter and cut the tape to size and put it all around the bezel. Now it sticks and it's centered. Time to spend; about 2 hours. Is it worth it? I think so. It really improves the center console but you'll have to put some effort into it.

Needs more two way tape.

The chrome looks good, and it dresses up the mid part of the dash with the brightness. The tiny two way tape is insufficient to hold the piece on. It needs to have the tape all the way around. Looks good, but poor installation oppertunities. I would not buy again. When it falls of, I will not replace it.
