Classic Auto Air's Perfect Fit ELITE model specific systems are not your typical, one-size-fits-all, low-quality, aftermarket air conditioning system. Every component was chosen for its superior design and quality rather than low cost. Classic Auto Air's RETROFIT designs give OE quality combined with better than original performance and reliability.

The Perfect Fit ELITE 1967-1968 Mustang air conditioning system is engineered to actually fit a 1967-1968 Mustang, not a single unit that is adapted to fit a whole product like competitors. It comes equipped with carefully sized, large, separate air conditioning and heat coils just like factory OE systems, not combined air conditioning/heat coils often found on aftermarket systems. By using separate coils it improves the cooling and heating capacity of the total system. This makes you cooler much faster!

This model specific Perfect Fit ELITE system allows you to retrofit an original, standard, 1967-1968 Mustang with full air-conditioning. Classic Auto Air's system is engineered specifically to use the original 1967-1968 Mustang heater controls using simple 'EZ Cable' integrators and Classic Auto Air's 'EZ Wire' system. The new fully electricPerfect Fit ELITE system also uses an ECU to allow infinite adjustability over all modes, providing you with powerful air conditioning, heat on the floor, and dehumidified defrost. The air conditioning and defrost connect to the original heater-defrost diffusers.

The 1967-1968 Mustang Perfect Fit ELITE air conditioning system is designed specifically to bolt into your 1967-1968 Mustang with minimum modification to your vehicle. Each kit comes with detailed, easy-to-follow installation instructions and mounting template.

I have worked on cars since I was 12,and have had 50+ cars.
I do all my mechanical work, fabricating and have a repair business.
This system is TERRIBLE !!! I am a perfectionist as well as I take pictures along the way and had so many problems that first I asked my car guy friends "what am I missing here?" After they all said "nothing this sucks". I had tech service on the line with me several times, and sent them pictures of the whole installation. They couldn't figure out what was wrong,and kept telling me it "should just go together as the instructions read."
Parts missing, and I had to modify or completely re make the brackets,and re bend a line because it wouldn't fit,re drill the hole in the plate for the lined to exit the firewall to the motor compartment,and REPLACE the crank pulley they supplied because it hit my water pump pulley,and the plate the compressor mounts to the left head (after I sent it out to be powder coated had to be modified to fit flat on the head,and the bracket/ idler pulley they sent me doesn't line up with the other pulleys so I can't put my v belt on !!!!!
I did check 1 star because NEGATIVE stars aren't an option, or I would check them.
I took pictures of the firewall with the blower motor out and the template taped to my firewall, before and after I drilled the "drain" hole. Turns out it was 1 1/4 inches too HIGH!!! So I had to drill another one, and PLUG the first hole which was (and my pictures prove it)where the template indicated. Becaus water doesn't drain UP to leave the car !!!
I will be a VERY loud telling person to anyone who asks me how BAD this system is, and will NEVER buy from them again!!!!!!!!!

Perfect system for my mustang!
I have had several different systems by other manufacturers and this is by far the best performing! My wife will actually ride with me in 'our' 67 fastback in the texas heat!
