Asked by: will33
They will not fit unless you changed from an 8 inch rear to a 9 inch rear.

What kind of rear axle end housing fits this backing plate;  I know there are several types;  Big Ford Old style & Big Ford new style (old style uses 1/2"  holes, new style has 3/8 holes)

Asked by: BarryStein31D
These are designed to work with a Big For 9" New Style with 3/8" holes.

I need to know if this will fit with my 9" rear end;  I am cutting down a non-mustang 9" Housing (it is not "necked down")  The diameter of the flange on the end is 4 5/8".  The Hole to hole length (4 bolt pattern) appears to be about 3 3/8"

Asked by: BarryStein31D
Dimensions are listed within the product description. Not sure if it would fit a non-Mustang rear end - we've never tried.

will this kit fit a stock mustang 5.0 gt with 4 lug drums ?

Asked by: alecat
As long as you have a 9-inch axle housing and a 1964-1993 Mustang, you're good.

Hello, can this be mounted on a rear axle 9" coming from a Mercury monarch from 1973,mounted with disk

Asked by: Shelby Spirit
Unsure. We have only tested it on the fitments listed, so anything custom is untested with us. It could work, but it might not.
