Product Questions

Bought new springs for 1965 aftermarket hood.  They are too strong and I am afraid to close the hood for fear it will twist the hood.  Would these lift the hood without risking the twist when closing?

Asked by: jpierpont
These are meant for fiberglass hoods, so if your aftermarket hood is made from fiberglass, you should be good.

I have a 1966 comet cyclone with the fiberglass hood. Will these lighter springs work for that too? On the surface I would think so, since the hood size is comparable. If so, this may be a new market niche for you.....Thanks, Richard

Honestly not sure. Unless it's noted in the product description, we haven't tested for anything other than Mustangs and EcoBoost models, so we just don't know.
