Product Description

Hurst Billet Comp Plus Shifter for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 GT Mustangs.

Equip your Mustang with a short throw shifter from the shifter pros. Hurst engineered the Competition Plus shifter for more positive and precise gear changes. Features precision machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum base and stop collar along with a heat treated steel gear selector designed for unrivaled strength. A low friction spherical bearing reduces stick drag for smoother shifting. Front and rear urethane bushings eliminate shifter rail flex while avoiding the transfer of transmission noise into the cabin. Most importantly, the Competition Plus Shifter reduces shifter throw by 40% allowing for quicker shifts.

Hurst manufactured the Comp Plus Shifter with looks to match its function. A 6.38" chrome Hurst shift lever is topped with a white shift knob showing the shift pattern and "Hurst" on the side. Adjustable positive gear stops allow you to set the length of your shifts perfectly so over shifting or internal transmission damage does not occur. Includes all hardware needed to make this shifter a bolt-on upgrade. Hurst's Competition Plus Shifter will make shifting your GT's 5-speed manual transmission quicker and smoother.
