Monte Carlo Bar Curved Chrome 1967-1970

Product Description

Chrome Curved Monte Carlo Bar for 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970 Mustangs.

Are you worried about your 1967-1970 Mustang's wheel alignment or your shock towers flexing and moving around? Consider adding this Chrome Curved Monte Carlo Bar to your pony's engine bay for extra support!

The Monte Carlo bar was developed by Carroll Shelby to stop shock tower flex and maintain proper wheel alignment during hard cornering. This extra support also helps prevent shock tower stress cracks. This upgraded support bar is crafted from high-quality metal and comes with a beautiful chrome plating to add some extra class to your engine bay.

Tech Tip: The curved design of this Monte Carlo bar allows for extra clearance for oval air cleaners and aftermarket distributors. A straight Monte Carlo bar (MCB42) is also available.
Please Note:
Mounting hardware (HW2911) is sold separately.

Monte Carlo Bar Curved Chrome 1967-1970 is rated 4.333333333333333 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality, Easy Fit This is a cheap and easy engine bay upgrade that is worth the price. Installation doesn't take long. It only took me a half hour. It's literally as simple as removing a few bolts, punching in some new holes, and installing the bar and the bolts back in. You will, however, need to buy four new bolts, washers, and nuts. Thankfully, the towers in my 67 Cougar haven't started to bend in yet. This let me simply slide the bar into place. If your towers have bent in you may need to lift the front end off the wheels so that it flex back out for an easier installation. The chrome looks great and as far as I can tell it's made of strong, quality metal. Definitely worth the time and money. Next, I'll have to pick up an Export Bar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shine and look! Bar looks great! and fits snug. Unfortunately I wiped my wall and have to modify this mount to make it work but this is a great product! it fits just in front of your shock towers. It is much lighter then i thought it would be, would say it is more for appearance then structure.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sharp looking Looks good under the hood but is very light weight and I think for looks only. Had to drill new holes in mounting brackets to line up with existing holes in fender wells.

I have a 67 mustang with the new after market air conditioning. I have the new bar but it won't fit because of the way the lines for the air conditioner is mounted. Any suggestions.
