Motor Mount Kit 289/302/351 11/1/1965-1972 is rated 2.6666666666666665 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad information Despite being told that the mounting kit would fit my 1972 Mustang- it does not. The mount to the engine is correct but the bracket to the cross member is not and I called CJ to double check that information.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not really a complete "kit" Since it is listed as a "kit" I feel the mounting hardware should be included as well. I purchased for a 6 cylinder to V-8 swap so I now have to order the mounting bolt kit separately.
Date published: 2015-03-28
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Generally Satisfactory. Finish quality was mediocre, otherwise OK. Price was good.

Product Questions

How do I find the manufacture date on my 65 289 v8?

Asked by: Jeff65
There is several websites out there that can help you decode your VIN and that will tell you the build date of your '65.

will this mount kit work with a roller 302 out of an 87 Mustang into my 1966 car?

Asked by: Eddy
It should I have same motor from a 88 mustang foxbody as long as you get the mounts that are for the 1966 mustang so these should fit even the polyurethane ones

I just bought a set of these. Do you have any instruction for mounting. Not sure which one goes on which side. I think I have them switched it pulled the motor too far forward of the car.

Asked by: Frank63
Unfortunately, this doesn't have an installation guide available at this point.
