2005-2010 Mustang MSD Ignition 4.6L 3V GT Coil Packs

These Coil Packs from MSD Ignition will fit 4.6L 3V 2005-2010 GT Mustangs.

While these coil packs from MSD Ignition might look exactly like the stock parts, the engineers at MSD Ignition used their patented dual magnet technology to increase the output, plus better materials to assemble the primary and secondary windings. Because of these innovations, they will definitely produce higher voltage and spark energy in your 2005-2010 Mustang GT!

1. To start the installation of your new Mustang MSD Ignition 82438 GT Coil Packs, pop the hood and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Locate all eight of the stock factory coil on plugs.

2. Remove each of the 7mm bolts that holds down each of the Mustang coil packs.

3. Disconnect the electrical plug on each coil pack by squeezing the tabs on the connector. That will allow you to completely remove your factory coil packs to make room for the MSD Ignition coil packs' installation.

4. Place your new Mustang MSD Ignition GT Coil Packs into each cylinder the same way the factory ones were installed. Reinstall the 7mm bolts back on to each plug and reconnect the electrical connector. Reconnect your negative battery terminal. Start your Mustang and make sure it is not misfiring. Your installation is now complete!
