1. Before you begin installing your new Mustang Scott Drake Ignition Switch Assembly, you'll first need to remove the original ignition switch assembly. Start by screwing off the bezel, then use the switch bezel tool, which fits perfectly. Make sure to disconnect the wiring, too!
2. If needed, replace the Mustang ignition switch retainer. The retainer sits behind the dash and lines up with the ignition hole. Secure the retainer with a screw.
3. Prepare the new Scott Drake ignition switch assembly. Place it on the Mustang steering column, right on the retainer that was installed in the previous step.
4. Insert the Mustang ignition switch cylinder into the ignition assembly.
5. Prepare the new Mustang ignition switch bezel. To installed, just align it on the ignition assembly and tighten it in place with the Mustang ignition switch bezel tool. Reconnect the wiring.
6. Once you've tested everything to make sure it works and the car starts, you can begin to enjoy your new Mustang Scott Drake Ignition Switch Assembly!
