This retro-fit hydraulic roller camshaft will fit Ford 351W V8 engines from 1969-1995.

These camshafts provide the perfect combination of an early intake valve opening, long exhaust duration and a generous amount of intake and exhaust overlap to maximize your engine’s nasty-idling characteristics without negatively impacting streetability. Without question, Thumpr™ cams are in a class by themselves when it comes to serious “seat of the pants” performance and aggressive idle.

The Thumpr 283THR7 is a high performance street camshaft with a choppy/thumping idle. A stock torque converter is acceptable with this camshaft, but works best with a 2000+ stall torque converter and gears.
