Scott Drake Parking Brake Handle 1965-1966 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Caution, may not fit. I bought this to replace a broken handle on my early 65 fastback. It did not fit because the hole for the pin in the SD handle is parallel to the ground when mounted in the car but the pin hole in the shaft of my parking brake mechanism is drilled at a 45 degree angle. Therefore, the handle would have been very crooked when mounted in the car. I had to do some engineering and drill another hole in the SD handle to make it work. Apperently there must have been a design change in the parking break mechanism at some point in early cars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than the original! The quality of this replacement handbrake handle is superior to the original, plus including an Allen screw makes easy install and removal if ever necessary.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing All plastic... Scott drake seems to make the best stuff, but I have to say the off brand one I had before this(although wore out on the face and all black letters) was a lot more sturdy. Scott drake should put a metal washer or piece on the inside. I feel like I'm going to break the darn thing yanking on the parking brake. It stays in place okay, doesn't move around or anything, but feels like it could be made better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks great and well made.. BUT... This brake handle looks just like the original with one exception.. The mounting hole is 30° off from where it should be. Had to drill a new hole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice finish and functions as expected. This part has a nice finish and fits as intended. I used the Allen screw to allow for future removal if needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Parking brake Can't say it was an easy install but looks great in my interior. Will need a dremel to get the old one off

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not bad. Not bad.... Must "beefier" than the average reproduction. Hoping to end my "string" of brake handle replacements.

You may have to remove the assembly from the car and set it on a block of wood and drive the pin out with a punch.
