Steeda Street Front Splitter Kit for all 2015, 2016 and 2017 GT Mustangs equipped with the Performance Pack.
This Steeda Front Splitter is specially crafted and engineered for the street and will give you extra traction and control in the front end of your Performance Pack equipped 2015-2017 Mustang GT.
A functional front splitter like this will work by creating a high pressure area on top, then the high pressure air flow is restricted from flowing underneath the car, causing drag. You can also gain substantial amounts of control, traction and handling characteristics when there is low pressure under the car reducing lift. This all adds up to making this front splitter a great choice for any 2015-2017 Performance Pack GT Mustang owner that really wants to grip the streets when going fast and look great while sitting still.

I believe the Aussie mustangs have a variation of the performance pack as std. Does that apply to this area and allow this to fit?
Will this work with a California Special?
will this fit my ecoboost with performance package or will i need to get a pp GT chin spoiler and replace my chin spoiler?
If you don't have the performance pack, is it possible to fit this splitter obviously with having to make your own holes to the belly pan to match the splitter holes and secure from the other side?
since it wont fit for a 2016 GT/CS, do you have any recommendations for a similar product? thank you

Some people want a little bit more. If you're looking to change up your 2015 performance pack, Steeda offers this bolt-on splitter that replaces your factory belly pan and gives the front of your car a real unique looks. I'm going to install one on my 2015 Mustang GT.
Although it will increase down-force at higher speeds, the main reason a lot of people are going to put this on their Mustang is going to be for looks. This high quality splitter is made in the USA. It's direct replacement for your factory belly pan and even installs using factory hardware.
For this installation, you'll need a lift or a jack and jack stands, quarter-inch ratchet, seven-millimeter socket, pick or small punch, small flat-head screwdriver, drill and an eighth-inch drill bit.
Once you get the car off the ground, the first step in the installation is to remove all the hardware, to remove your factory belly pan, to be replaced by some push pins in this neighborhood over here, then all across the front and a few in the middle are some seven-millimeter bolts. Remove the stock J clips from the splitter then put it aside.
To put the splitter into place, it's best to have an extra set of hands because you have to actually have to hold it up and then use a pick or a, in my case, I'm using a small punch to line up these holes with the factory holes to install the hardware. I'm going to start with these two middle ones here.
Put everything in this loose, hand tight for now because you want to make some adjustments on it later. The outermost hole, you're going to install one of the bolts and then one of the J clips up inside to hold it in place. There is no hole here so what you do is line it up with the factory valance, make sure it's square, then drill a small hole. Probably the easiest thing to do here is to line up the screw, you can actually see pretty easily and put a couple threads up inside. Now that it's started, what you want to do is reach up into the wheel well with your J clip and get it lined up over the bolt we just put into place. To do hold the J clip and then just tighten it down.
Then, you want to grab the push pins, put them in the two outer holes here. Again, reach up in the wheel just to make sure everything's lined up. It's easier to push it through that way.
All right. We go back through, tighten everything down. The installation's finished. The only tighten these too much. They're just going to get snug. They're not going to grab real hard.
The Steeda front splitter gives a real aggressive look to the front of my performance package GT. Because it uses all factory hardware, the installation is pretty straightforward as well. As long as you have somebody help you hold it in place, the whole process should take you around 30 minutes. You'll be back on the road in no time.
