Product Questions

Will wire harness wud1c work with a 1966 four gauge cluster, especially the amp gauge in a 1965 fastback?

Works with Gauge Instrument Clusters.

Will the 1965 under dash wiring harness hook up to the New Vintage Usa Redline series instrument dash without a lot changes ?Or is there a harness that would fit the application better Your advice would be a great help thankyou

Asked by: pudd
It would require modifications to the instrument cluster harness to work with the new vintage gauges, there is not a gauge harness for the cluster.

Does this wiring harness include the fog lights which are standard with a 65 GT? If so will the tail lights turn on with the fog lights?

Asked by: Dearborn GT
No, this isn't what you want for fog lights. Look up CJ part # WFGUD1. There's a full installation video on the product page, so you can see exactly how it installs.

What is the difference between a 65 gt cluster and 66 cluster? Wouldn't the 65 gt have to have deluxe int. to have gauges? I have a 65 gt with deluxe, but orig cluster is gone. Which would be correct for my car? Build date is April 21. Thanks.

Asked by: vintagemetal66
All 1965 Mustang GTs had a unique amp gauge that was different than both the regular 1965 Mustangs and the 1966 model. That's why the wiring is different. If your car was a 1965 GT, you'll want this wiring harness and the proper 1965 GT gauges. If you have a standard 1965 Mustang, you won't have gauges at all - just "idiot" lights. The standard vs. deluxe interior issue isn't an issue at all, as a 1965 GT could have either, but would still have the same GT gauges.
