The quick 16:1 ratio provides more responsive steering and matches the ratio used on high-performance Mustangs and power steering applications. It is also an excellent upgrade for manual steering Mustangs originally equipped with a slower 20:1 ratio.
This brand-new steering box features a 1-1/8" sector shaft and an improved needle bearing design for smoother operation. Replacing a worn steering box can help reduce steering wheel play, hesitation, and wandering while improving high-speed tracking. The direct bolt-on design requires no modifications, and there is no core charge.
