1967 C10 Parts

As the second-generation debut, the 1967 Chevy C10 continued the popularity of the company’s C/K line. They were marketed as the Action Line trucks, but are now commonly referred to as the Glamour Pickups. The combination of modern design and classic lines makes them popular with collectors.

There are many areas to look at when repairing a project C10. Like other early Chevy trucks, the 1967 C10 had metal front bushings. They’re durable, but have to be properly maintained. A common suspension upgrade is swapping them out for rubber bushings. These will also give your pickup a more comfortable ride.

Apart from that, there’s a good chance your C10 has been affected by rust. The door sills, rockers, and wheel wells are especially susceptible. Replacing body components with new factory-style ones will have your pickup looking great. Plus, it will help maintain body integrity.

If your project began its life as a work truck, the interior is another area that may need some attention. From faded and cracked leather to broken gauges, there are many areas to upgrade. You can replace stock components while adding modern touches like an upgraded sound system.

If you aren’t interested in a period-correct restoration, you can make your C10 a restomod project. Whether you’re working to squeeze more horsepower out of your engine or adding custom paint to the exterior, there are no rules for how your build has to go. The C10 is a blank slate that can be customized to the tastes of any enthusiast.
