1985 C10 Parts

The 1985 C10 was one of the last of the third generation C10s. It also received the last major refresh of the rounded-line generation. Whether you're doing a faithful restoration or a restomod, these C10s often need body, engine, and suspension work.

For restoration, the aftermarket has everything you need to make your 1985 C10 look like new. From hardware to body components, it’s simple to find the items on your list.

Trucks of any kind are often susceptible to rust in their beds and on their underbody. Over time, rust can cause your pickup’s body to lose structural rigidity, making it less safe in a crash. Replacing rusted parts will make your C10 safer and more attractive.

Electrical wiring, heating and cooling, and drivetrain repairs are often needed for trucks of this era as well. You’ll also want to add new shocks and suspension components to make the ride smoother.

For a restomod project, adding custom bodywork and a revamped interior are likely to be on the agenda. A new audio system and custom seats are popular interior mods. Air suspensions are common in restomods as well. They'll give you a customizable ride height you can raise or lower depending on your needs.

There’s no reason you can’t enjoy modern levels of power from your classic truck. A supercharger or even crate engine swap will seriously increase horsepower and torque. This can make your C10 a contender on the drag strip. Even if you won’t be racing your truck, modern upgrades can make it more enjoyable to drive.
