ACCELATEC Adjustable Accelerator Pedal Mount 1-1/2" Spacer for all 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Focus STs and 2016, 2017 and 2018 Focus RSs.

If you have ever taken your 2013-2018 Focus ST Auto-Crossing or your brand new 2016-2018 Focus RS to a Track Day or on the occasional spirited drive, you may have noticed how difficult it is to make the quick transition from the accelerator pedal to brake pedal, perform proper left foot braking or even precisely execute a heel toe maneuver.

One of the biggest complaints amongst Focus enthusiasts that continue to push their cars to the limit is the excessively low accelerator pedal position. Until now, this could cause a number of serious issues. But not anymore! Not only will this ACCELATEC FSTPM Billet Aluminum Accelerator Pedal Mount bring your gas pedal 1-1/2” closer to you, the built in adjustability will allow you to shift the left-to-right position of the pedal approximately 3/4”. Adjustments can easily be made in seconds by loosening the included hardware and simply sliding the pedal into your ideal position.

Features and Benefits:
- Billet Aluminum Construction
- Includes ALL Necessary Hardware
- 1-1/2” Thick with 3/4” Lateral Adjustability
- Easily Installs and Adjusts in Minutes
- Provides Ideal Positioning for Spirited Driving
- Will fit on 2013-2018 ST models and all new 2016-2018 RS models
- Made in the USA

*For full lateral adjustability, the underside of your factory pedal assembly has two small plastic locating tabs that will need to be removed. These tabs can easily be removed with wire cutters or a small blade, removal of these tabs in no way effects the performance of the pedal assembly.

Even though you will notice the biggest benefits of this pedal mount when you are trying to get the most out of your Focus ST or RS, the effects will still be noticeable during normal driving as well. The accelerator pedal ends up in the perfect position of your choosing for professional drivers to the casual novices. Most people will even notice a major difference in the relaxed sitting position while you are driving on a day to day basis, offering you a much better overall driving experience and newly discovered level of comfort.

Order the ACCELATEC FSTPM Adjustable Accelerator Pedal Mount 1-1/2" Spacer for your 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 or 2018 Focus ST or your 2016, 2017 or 2018 Focus RS from CJ Pony Parts today!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's that one thing you're missing Just like in a relationship no matter how beautiful they are and no matter how well their personality matches yours, if that 'something' is missing you'll always know it in your gut. This spacer is that 'something' you've been missing. It has completely changed my transition from accelerator to brake and back again as well as quickened my brake, clutch and back on the gas transition at that sudden green light. I don't care what cold air intake you have, or exhaust on the hangers, this is that 'something' you've . 10 minutes to install if that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GAs Petal Spacer I purchased the petal spacer to get rid of the offset between the gas pedal and the brake. Heal & Toe was always a problem but this spacer makes it much simpler. It does bring the pedal closer causing you to move the seat a bit or change the angle of your foot to the pedal. Installation was very simple although I didn't need to unplug the cable since everything fit. It took only 20min to complete. The only hard part was getting under the steering column to get to everything, it is a bit cramped even moving the seat all the way back. If you purchase this upgrade you should be happy with the results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good purchase It’s disappointing that you have to spend money to fix the position offset. $75 isn’t exactly expensive, but it’s not exactly cheap for something as simple as this product. That being said, with the first brake-to-gas transition from park (immediately after install), the cramp that has plagued my foot that has come from braking was gone. I used to have my seat adjusted closer to the steering wheel because of the gas pedal. Now that they’re even, it’s an amazing feeling. Like being healed from a cold or a back-ache that’s been there for a long time. So, overall, a good buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Necessary mod for easy rev-matching. I purchased my Focus ST recently and the first thing I noticed is how terribly Ford spaced their accelerator and brake pedal. Coming from a BMW, I'm use to my pedals being on a fairly even plain, where the brakes begin to bite at level with the accelerator. This spacer puts the accelerator exactly where I prefer it making rev-matched downshifts a breeze. The quality of the product is good and the hardware included is suitable for the application. I don't imagine I'll have an issue with broken bolts and everything holds tight enough. The spacer is machined well and isn't an eyesore, as it hides well. Price is a little high considering it's a hunk of machined metal, but considering the competition, beggars cannot be choosers. Takes putting the pedal to the metal literally.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Great I've been driving around with this installed now for a few months and I love the new position. Moving my foot from the gas peddle to the brake and vice versa is so much better. When I'd go to track days I was constantly catching my foot on the side of the brake peddle and now that's not a problem. Gave it four stars only because I had the same problem as most everyone else has had with the bolts being to short. It's a bit ridiculous that these are still getting shipped out with bolts that are to short considering how long people have been complaining about it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great spacer, bolts too short for 2015 Installed yesterday and love it. I needed to get longer bolts for the pedal from the hardware store. I'm not sure if the 2015s gas pedal are thicker than previous years but the bolts that came with the spacer were not long enough.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little too tall First, worlds better than stock on my RS. Hence the 4 stars. It would be 5 if it were about 1/2 inch thinner. Before the spacer it was essentially impossible to heel and toe - the gas pedal was just far too far below the brake, you couldn’t reach it. Now, at rest, the brake and gas are at the same level. When braking though, the gas pedal is higher than the brake, which can lead to some unintentional overlap. If it were 1 inch I think it would be perfect. Or maybe I’m just not used to it yet :-) On a slightly different note, the higher gas pedal is not as comfortable as stock and requires a less natural angle at the ankle, at least for how my seat is set up. That’s no fault of the spacer though, just something to bare in mind if you are not an habitual heel and toer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Wins Out I'm not as young as I think sometimes, so it took me a bit longer than expected to get this item installed in my Focus RS. It wasn't that four bolts were so difficult, but they're in a awkward place in the car. All that said, my first reaction was less than enthusiastic - to accommodate the spacer I'd have to move my seat back a bit, making the clutch pedal a bit of a stretch. But as I soon surmised, it was mostly a matter of getting adjusted to the new pedal placements. Two weeks later, my assessment is much better. I am getting used to the new placement, and have also discovered that with a couple of extra inches underfoot, the pedal gets to the metal all that much quicker. Can't hardly argue with that :).

Hi I am interested in purchasing this pedal spacer for my RH 2017 Focus RS. What is the shipping cost to Australia? The checkout suggest about $70 which is way to much as I have purchased much heavier items from US with half priced shipping. Cheers

Does somebody make a Clutch Pedal "extension" so that when you must move your seat back to accommodate the new gas pedal spacer, you can push the clutch down without stretching a lot?
