The stainless steel letters are going to go right here on top of the factory Ford emblems in the grille. Now, since this is the front of the truck, it's going to be dirty. There's going to be bugs on it. You gotta make sure to get the surface as clean as possible for the double stick to adhere. We're going to start with some soapy water, clean it up there, and then use some alcohol, and then finally, adhesion promoter.
Alright, now I’m just going to put some alcohol on. Next step is adhesion promoter. This is kind of nasty stuff, so you either want to use gloves or I usually do, just leave it in the packaging. Just get it visible like that, and then put it where the tape's going to go.
The first thing you want to do is hold the letter up to see if you may need to bend it just a little bit to match the curve. Double-stick tape will actually take a lot of it. Pretty good there, so we're good to go. I'm going to peel back the double stick tape, then line it up and stick it on. Now the same thing with the other letters. Again, just make sure you get an idea of where it's going to go. Make sure the curve is right and remove the double stick tape.
And your installation is finished.
