Anderson Composites Hood Type-OE Carbon Fiber Double-Sided Mustang Shelby GT350/GT350R 2015-2020

Both 2015-2020 Shelby GT350 and GT350R Mustangs will love the OEM-inspired design of this hood. Its carbon fiber “skeleton” is bonded to the underside of the hood and weighs 21.7 pounds, making it almost 10 pounds lighter than stock. A high-gloss finish with UV inhibitors then gives it that show-quality look, coating both the top and underside. Plus, since the hood is designed as a direct-fit replacement, it fits the factory mounting points and reuses the original hardware.

Tech Tip:
- Anderson Composites does not suggest re-installing gas shocks, dampers, or struts while this hood is in use. However, they recommend the use of a hood prop rod. They also recommend the use of hood pins for safety reasons.
- It is highly recommended to use an automotive-grade clear coat with additional UV inhibitors to further prolong the life and finish of this hood.

Additional Notes:
- Modifications may be necessary for correct fitment of the OE windshield washer spray nozzles, fluid lines and hood vent grille as part of the normal installation process.
- Anderson Composites requires the use of heat shields with their hoods. If a customer chooses not to install a proper heat shield capable of withstanding ambient temperatures up to 2000°F, damages to the hood may occur and won’t be covered under Anderson Composites’ 6-month appearance guarantee.
