To make this hood lightweight and strong at the same time, Anderson Composites carefully crafts it using 3k carbon fiber twill. Through a vacuum-infused process, it’s combined with marine-grade resin that has UV ray inhibitors. This lets it achieve the perfect fabric-to-resin ratio, simultaneously adding a large, vented area in the center section. Not only does it create stellar heat extraction, but it adds a sporty aesthetic as well. For easy installation, it mounts the factory hinges and reuses the original hardware.

Tech Tips:
- It is highly recommended to use an automotive clear coat with UV inhibitors to prolong the life and finish of the hood. Anderson Composites also strongly recommends using hood pins and installing a heat shield.
- Re-installing or installing a hood lift kit is not suggested when using an aftermarket hood; please use a hood prop rod.

Additional Notes:
- Anderson Composites requires the use of heat shields with their hoods. If you choose not to install a proper heat shield capable of withstanding ambient temperatures of up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, damage to the hood may occur.
- We do NOT recommend installing this hood on Mustangs manufactured for sale outside of the U.S. due to the factory-integrated active hood safety feature that is built into the OE hood hinges on those models.
- The hood vent is not included.
- Modifications may be necessary for the correct fitment of the OE windshield washer spray nozzle system as part of the normal installation process.
