With this Anderson Composites Dual Side Carbon Fiber Type-OE Hood, you can replace your 2024 Mustang's original hood with the same design and fitment, but with a stronger and lighter build that is sportier in appearance. It features a durable one-piece construction from premium wet carbon fiber with a clear gloss coat. This finish extends on both sides of the hood, customizing the front end of your EcoBoost, GT, or Dark Horse with a unique shine!

This hood is a direct fit upgrade that matches the dimensions of your S650's original hood. It features a hole towards the front to fit a separate vent hood. During installation, this Anderson Composites Type-OE Hood (AC-HD24FDMU-OE-DS) uses the original hood's factory mounting locations, making for a modification-free fitment. It also reuses the OE hardware, hinges, and latch assembly.

Tech Tips:
- It is highly recommended to use an automotive clear coat with UV inhibitors to prolong the life and finish of the hood. Anderson Composites also strongly recommends the use of hood pins and the installation of a heat shield.
- Re-installing or installing a Hood Lift Kit is not suggested when using an aftermarket hood; please use a hood prop rod.

Additional Notes:
- Anderson Composites requires the use of heat shields with their hoods. If you choose not to install a proper heat shield capable of withstanding ambient temperatures of up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, damage to the hood may occur.
- We do NOT recommend installing this hood on Mustangs manufactured for sale outside of the U.S. due to the factory-integrated active hood safety feature that is built into the OE hood hinges on those models.
- The hood vent is not included.
- Modifications may be necessary for the correct fitment of the OE windshield washer spray nozzle system as part of the normal installation process.
