Upgrade your 1976-1979 Shortbed Flareside F-100 with this Bed Wood and Parts smoked stainless steel hidden fastener bed strip set (318400048). These bed strips feature a roll-formed 430 BA magnetic stainless steel construction with a smoked finish. The 1-1/2″ wide strips are cut to the exact 78-1/2″ bed length for a factory-style fit without trimming.

Instead of traditional exposed fasteners, this system uses a unique hidden “T-bolt” sliding mount. The bolts fit into a channel on the underside of each strip, allowing hardware placement to be customized along the strip length without visible bolt heads. This complete kit includes the correct number of 1-1/4″ long hidden fasteners made from stainless steel, ensuring strength and a clean installation. Use these strips with Bed Wood's Phantom boards.
