BluePrint Engines Base-Dressed 500-Horsepower Fuel-Injected GM 400 C.I. Small-Block Crate Engine.

Built for muscles cars that can handle track time, this engine balances classic attitude with serious power. The GM 400 small-block crate engine features a forged steel crankshaft and forged pistons. Their combined power lets the block run a 10.3:1 compression ratio hassle-free. Plus, BluePrint Engines ensures manual transmission swaps are easy since they drill and tap the block.

Features and Benefits:
- High-strength, cast iron engine block with 4.125” bore
- Operates at 500 horsepower and 510 ft.-lbs. torque 
- 10.3:1 compression ratio for stronger throttle response and crisp performance
- 4-bolt main offers stronger bottom end for high-HP applications
- 1-piece rear main seal ensures stronger, leak-free security
- Block is drilled and tapped for clutch linkage
- Uses Holley Sniper 2 electronic fuel injection (EFI) system
- Built-in BluePrint Engines performance cylinder heads made of aluminum
- Dual-plane, satin aluminum-finished intake manifold
- Forged steel crankshaft with 3.750" stroke and 5.700" rods with 150,000 PSI bolts
- Forged pistons for incredible strength and impact resistance
- Rotating assembly: internally balanced front, externally balanced rear
- Hydraulic roller cam. for lower maintenance and better strength than flat tappet cam.
- Ignition timing: 10-16° initial, 32-34° total at 3500 RPM
- Includes mechanical fuel pump provision and passenger-side dipstick
- Backed by BluePrint Engines' 30 month/50,000-mile warranty

Additional Notes:
- Not designed for EGR use.
- The cylinder heads feature a .500" raised exhaust port vs OEM casting. Please verify header and exhaust clearance prior to installation.
