Fortunately, the aftermarket offers a high-quality solution to your worn-out steering. Borgeson's Telescopic Heavy Duty Steel Steering Shaft (000975) is a safe and suitable bolt-in replacement.
Features and Benefits:

The Borgeson Steering Shaft connects the factory column to the steering box. The telescoping design adds a much-needed measure of safety to the steering system. This extreme-duty setup also features a billet steel universal joint and vibration reducer upgrade. The upgrade minimizes road shock that you would otherwise notice through the steering wheel.
Ford trucks have used a variety of lengths over the years and even within model years. Borgeson has added length to their Steering Shaft so you can trim it down for a perfect fit. The added length is also great for aftermarket body lifts.
