Classic Design Concepts High Mount Roof Spoiler Outlaw Black Textured Mustang Fastback 2015-2023

We recently showed you how to install the Outlaw Rockers from Classic Design Concepts, which are part of their Outlaw Body Kit, fitting all 2015 Mustangs. One of the things I mentioned I liked about the Outlaw kit is you don't have to necessarily buy the whole the kit. If you like the whole kit, you can buy it in kit form, but if you want, you could actually buy the pieces individually for a true custom look. One very unique part of the Outlaw body kit is this high mounted spoiler. Today we're going to show you how to install it using our 2015 Mustang GT.

This is considered a high mount spoiler. This is going to fit your Mustang Fastback only. It's going to install on the top of your rear glass and go over your third brake light for a real custom look. This is made of the same TPO plastic as the rest of the Outlaw kit. It's going to install without any tools necessary.

The first step of the installation, get a bit and clean your window using your normal glass cleaner. Once it's clean, you're going to grab the supplied alcohol and go over right where the spoiler's going to mount. Even though this CDC high mount rear spoiler is a stick on installation, it's pretty simple to do, it's going to need to have an extra set of hands to help you line it up and get it straight before you stick it on to the car. What we're going to do here is basic test fit it, figure out exactly where it's going to sit and we'll put some tape right here on the glass to make it easier to line up once we take off the double stick.

Now we're going to grab the supplied adhesion promoter and put it on the glass as well as the third brake light. You want to give this a couple of minutes to setup once we put it on the car. Here, cover the whole area. To actually install the spoiler, what you want to do is just barely get the corner started on all the red tape. We're going to put it in place again with some help. He'll hold his side down, I lift mine up, pull the tape off, stick my side, he'll do the same on that side. Keep your one side held down while you pull the tape off and make sure you keep it centered where we want it. With the tape on, your installation is finished.

The CDC Outlaw High Mount Spoiler adds a nice, subtle, and really custom touch to our 2015 Mustang GT Fastback. Like we said here, the plastic is smooth enough, you can install it as is. On my opinion, I would paint it for an even better custom look. The installation couldn't be easier. Should take you around 15 minutes with no tools required. You'll be back on the road in no time.
