This upper ball joint is a direct fit replacement that gets bolted to your upper control arm, holding your spindle into place while letting it pivot on the stud. You’ll notice slack in your steering if the ball stud is worn on your original joints as all your joints, linkages and shafts are a key part in how your truck steers, handles and rides. Replacing your ball joints is a smart idea if you want to keep your C10 reliable and driving safely. If your upper ball joints are worn out, your lower ones are more than likely worn out, too. Be sure to grab a set of lowers to finish the job!
