COBB’s Accessport V3 is the best-selling, most flexible and easiest to use ECU for the F-150. This tuning device allows you to replace the traditional factory settings with aggressive calibrations. This tuner is in-cabin mountable, has a large, full color, high-resolution screen and is fully customizable between the look, layout, and mounting options. This Accessport V3 lets you monitor up to six parameters in real-time. The layouts include race, street or dyno gauge clusters. Installation is made simple with intuitive on-screen instructions, and you are able to revert your ECU to exactly as it was before with the Uninstall option from the main menu. There are three off the shelf (OTS) TCM maps to choose from: Simulated Stock, OEM+, and Sport. These maps can be gained by adding TCM Flashing to your existing Accessport or buying an Accessport with TCM Flashing.

The simulated Stock mode is a replica of the factory data present on the 2019 model year Raptor. This will be the same as the stock map for the 2019 model year but be a significant improvement for the 2017-2018 Raptor. Among other improvements, 2017-2018 model year owners can expect the notoriously harsh ‘Sport’ mode 4-5 shift to be fixed using this and all other COBB TCM maps!

The COBB OEM+ map is intended to be a sporty but refined improvement on the stock transmission behavior. There is a moderate increase in shift firmness during high-power, high-RPM shifts in ‘Normal’ and ‘Sport’ drive modes. Upshift inhibits (zero APP gear-holding) in ‘Sport’ mode following high-power acceleration and throttle backout has been disabled. Stock behavior would inhibit upshift until the pedal position is re-applied above ~10%. Instead of this holding the gear and maintaining a high RPM, an upshift will occur for a smoother driving experience.
