Ford designed the 2013-2018 Focus ST with a sound symposer system that generates false engine noise which is carried into the cabin. Many agree this is a bit much, especially after you have upgraded your intake to an aftermarket one like the COBB cold air intake system. To remedy this, the masterminds over at COBB came up with this beautifully engineered delete kit that includes a physical block-off plate to allow the complete or partial removal of the symposer system from your Focus ST.

COBB provides two options with every sound symposer delete kit, a plug and a boost port. If your Focus ST's setup could make good use of an accurate boost source off of the intake manifold, install the 90 degree brass elbow and connect it your gauge or other necessary hardware. If you don’t require a boost source, simply install the plug that came with your kit using the supplied Allen key.
