Dakota Digital has established a reputation for innovative aftermarket instrumentation, and the RTX is no exception. The electronics are designed and built in-house by experts and then packed into CNC-machined housings. The high-definition TFT message centers are developed to be fully configured to display just about any information needed. For a convenient install and setup, Dakota Digital provides a central control box just as you would expect.

*The cable-driven speed sensor/generator will replace GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness. Sensor requires approximately 5-inch clearance that extends between the cable drive output and any obstruction.

The RTX features some amazing lighting options! Stick to stock or explore the various controls and color options for a head-turning look. Choose from over 30 color options that allow you to independently change the needle color, sweep color and digital TFT display color. Or, if you'd rather, check out the twelve factory preset color themes to quickly create a stunning look.

The RTX also allows you to control daytime and nighttime brightness through the HDX setup menu. Select your preferred lighting intensity level, toggled by the activation of the headlight switch. If on-the-fly rotary type control is desired, the DIM-1 is a common accessory to add this functionality. The RTX provides full RBG, LED backlighting so you can create the specific color you want, with a unique daytime and nighttime theme if desired. 

You can program and operate the RTX with the two-sided rocker switch or completely configure the system through the mobile app. The rocker switch provides easy access to all functions in driving mode or in the setup menu. Button-press feedback is available through the TFT Message Center or through the included buzzer. Once configured, this same switch is used to access the abundance of information located in the digital message centers. While many calibration settings exist, the speedometer and fuel level are completed in most cases (unless GPS-50-2 is used, negating the need to calibrate the speedometer) through a few taps of the pushbuttons and a short test drive of the vehicle. 

Using your tablet or smartphone, you can download the free mobile app for Android and Apple devices. From there, sync your device to the RTX system and enjoy hassle-free menu navigation and real-time gauge readouts for diagnostic use or a secondary display.
