Diode Dynamics places its lights under long-term vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing for SAE standard approval. Aluminum casting and a polycarbonate lens protect the LED chips found in the Sport White Combo SS3 Ditch Pod Light Kit from environmental factors. Mounted to the A-pillar, above the hood, the Stage Series SS3 Ditch Light Kit is secured in factory mounting locations.

Unlike stock lighting, these aftermarket additions are custom-engineered with TIR optics in the SS3 to collect all of the light from the LED, drastically reducing glare and improving total efficiency. An SS3 is configured to include the optic and main lens that is then coupled with high-intensity LED chips. The output is a combo (flood and driving) beam pattern, shining downrange through a rectangular 65x25 degree pattern.

*No cutting or drilling is required; the mounting location will not interfere with the antenna, or raising and lowering the hood.
