Edelbrock Cylinder Head RPM Performer Aluminum FE 390/428

Commuter engines like the FE 390 and 428 are often performing on the fly with intermittent throttle response and acceleration. The Edelbrock Aluminum RPM Performer Cylinder Head responds to a range of 1500 to 6500 rpm, with a 170cc intake runner volume. These street-based performance measures have high-quality valve springs and intake and exhaust valves to meet the daily driving demands on long highways or back roads.

Tech Tips:
- 428 Cobra Jet-sized valves promote excellent flow for street power.
- The Edelbrock Rocker Shaft Stud Kit (see P/N: EDL6009) improves retention and is highly recommended for use with Edelbrock FE heads. It eliminates the wearing of the threads and the possibility of bottoming the rocker shaft bolts in the head.
- It is highly recommended to match with Edelbrock head gasket sets.
- Bare heads will have valve guides and seats installed, but will require final sizing and a valve job to match the valves you will be using.
- Recommended spark plugs are Champion RC12YC or equivalent 14mm x 3/4" reach with a flat gasket seat. Deck thickness: 5/8".

Please Note: The 390 GT exhaust is not compatible with the RPM Performer Cylinder Head.
