Edelbrock Intake Manifold Performer RPM Q-Jet For Large Oval Port Heads Big Block Chevrolet

The Performer RPM Q-Jet Intake Manifold (7164) from Edelbrock is compatible with Big Block Chevrolet Engines with Large Oval Port Heads. It should also be used with spread-bore carburetors or Edelbrock square-bore carburetors without an adapter.

The Performer RPM Q-Jet features a dual-plane design for high-performance street or competition engines with an RPM operating range from 1,500 to 6,500. The Intake Manifold will supply fresh air to the cylinders for top-end horsepower and exceptional throttle response.

Edelbrock designed the Intake Manifold with large plenums and runners that will correspond nicely with free-flowing exhaust, high-lift cams, and any other performance modifications found on your high-output engine. The Intake Manifold will accept divorced choke, late-model waterneck, air-conditioning, alternator, and HEI equipment.

Tech Tips: 
- Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock P/N: EDL7203.
- Recommended carburetor: Edelbrock AVS2 or Performer Series 650-800 cfm. Use bracket P/N: EDL8031 for 1972-1978.

Additional Notes:
- No provisions for hot air style chokes.
- Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant P/N: EDL1076. Do not use end seals gaskets.
- Hardened washers must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
