This Crate Engine (49550) offers an increase of 676 horsepower and 649 ft-lbs. of torque when run with 91 octane pump gas. As a package, it includes a Victory Jr. intake manifold and a Thunder Series AVS carburetor that runs at 800cfm. The cylinder heads are fully CNC ported, providing maximum airflow as you dominate the track. It also allows the use of off-the-shelf headers thanks to a stock exhaust port exit location.

Additional Notes:
- Engine ships with no oil inside, but comes with 8 quarts of Edelbrock Break-In Oil in the crate. Before starting the engine, you will need to prime the oil system. Do not turn the engine over with starter motor for priming.
- This engine is not supplied with the crankshaft bolt due to many different applications. It is required to purchase and install the crankshaft bolt that matches the given application.
- A torque converter with a stall speed of 2000 to 2500 RPM is recommended for street use. Using one with a stall speed greater than recommended can cause power loss and damage to drivetrain components.
