Vehicle Fitment

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heavy construction I purchased and installed the firewall insulation in a 1967 Mustang. The product was made of thick durable material. So thick in fact, that the fasteners I purchased would not secure the insulation to the firewall. I had to cut out some insulation near the mounting points to get it to attach to the firewall. I removed the heater box, so the passenger side installation was pretty straight forward. Installing the insulation on the drivers side was a bit of a wrestling match. I had to remove the fuse box from the firewall, which was hard to reinstall through the insulation, and remove and reinstall the windshield washer, which was also a little hard to do. Finally, I had to rip the top of the insulation and tape it back together to get it to mold around the steering column. Lesson is that retro-fitting this presents some installation challenges.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Firewall insulation The insulation was nice and thick. But the cut outs for steering column and other components re off by several inches.

I believe there are 2 different configuration of pads, from the pictures this one looks like it's for a non AC car. The one for a factory AC has a smaller hole stamped for the heater/AC box area. Is this correct and do you stock the correct one.

This works with either. This molded firewall insulation features a pre-cut pad with perforated cutouts for the parts that get mounted through the firewall.
