Tools you'll need for this installation, a 3/8 ratchet, T40 Torx bit, 14-millimeter wrench, and a set of cutters, crimpers, and strippers.
We're going to be mounting these lights on our Rugged Ridge bumper bar. They're super easy to install. Just put a bolt through the mount and set it on the bar. Install the washer, lock washer and repeat the process for the other light. You can adjust their tilt. Then when you get it to where you like it, secure it with a 5- millimeter hex key. Then tighten up the bottom nut with a 13-millimeter socket. With the lights fully secured, you can wire them up however you would like, but we have a Trail Rocker system that we're going to wire our lights into. We're not going to show you exactly how to wire it up. Basically, you just want to get the black wires to a ground and the red wires to a switch 12-volt source.
As you can see, we're about 15 feet away from our wall. All we have on are the two flood LED lights. They're incredibly bright, and they have a good, wide pattern, as well. They're really going to help out when we're off-road. Our LED floodlights are installed. They're incredibly bright. They look really good on the front of this jeep. Installation will take you about a half hour. Before you know, it you'll be heading off-road.
