Ford Racing's Kent Lotus block features a standard deck height with extra material for decking, strengthened areas around the main bearing webs, and reinforced lower clutch housing bolt bosses.
The block is cast from 40,000 psi grey iron casting that is stronger than the original, and Ford has specifically designed this block to accept a Lotus twin-cam cylinder head. It arrives machined and is delivered with semi-finished cylinder bores to allow the engine to be built to desired clearances.
