Ford Performance Shift Knob Carbon Fiber With 6-Speed Pattern/ST Logo Focus ST 2013-2018/ Fiesta ST 2014-2019

An aftermarket shift knob has always been a great way to customize your vehicle. It adds a nice look to the interior, usually feels better in your hand, and if weighted properly, will even make the car shift better. Today we're going to show you how to upgrade the shift knob in your Focus or Fiesta ST, by installing this carbon fiber unit from Ford Performance.

This Ford Performance Shift Knob will be a direct replacement for the original knob in your 2013-2017 Focus ST or your 2014-2017 Fiesta ST. It features carbon fiber construction with a white shift pattern on the top and a bright red Ford logo on the front and is made right here in the U.S.

The other nice thing about a shift knob upgrade, it's a very simple installation. We're going to start by removing the knob. Just get a grip on it, turn it counter- clockwise. Make sure the spring stays. It shouldn't move, but just make sure it doesn't come off. Now grab the new knob. It's going to be about five rotations. It will get tight. You want to basically watch to see when the reverse collar is engaged up in the shifter. You don't want to turn it too far. Usually five gets you right on the spot. What you want to do now is make sure it still goes in reverse. Should stay nice and tight. That's all there is to it.

Now the five turn method should get you right where you need to be. If you can't get the full turns out of it to get it where you need to, what you'll want to do is put some masking tape around the shifter, grab a strap wrench and use that to tighten it. You should be able to do it by hand, like I said, it's a very, very simple installation.

The Ford Performance ST Knob really fits the interior and feel of the Focus ST. Looks a lot better than the stock and in my opinion is a much better feel as well. The installation couldn't be easier. This is a five minute installation so you'll be back on the road in no time.
