The fuel tank that comes with this kit is a brand new, 22-gallon electronic fuel injection ready fuel tank that is made of durable and corrosion-resistant galvanized steel. With an overall size of 32-5/8" x 24-1/2" x 9-3/4” it also comes with a new fuel filler hose that uses the original hardware to mount to the fuel tank. An internal EFI-style baffling system with 4.3 liter internal fuel tray helps to prevent your Mustang’s engine from fuel starving under heavy acceleration and cornering.

Mounting the new EFI fuel tank is easy, mounting right where the original fuel tank was located, using the original mounting holes and hardware. The fuel sending unit included with this fuel tank kit is a 73-10 ohm fuel sending unit that will work with your original, factory-style fuel gauge. The sending unit is designed with a rheostat that is made from the high-quality ceramic board, and the fuel sending unit itself is zinc plated to be more resistant to corrosion.

Your new EFI fuel tank kit includes a high performance, GPA-Series 400 LPH Walbro fuel pump module. This fuel pump will push fuel to your Mustang’s motor at 400 liters per hour, and is capable of supporting 500-1,000 horsepower. Made from tough, 10-gauge metal with a yellow-zinc plating, the mounting plate is designed to not warp and be corrosion resistant. It has the correct fittings for supply, return, vent, and electrical connections. The fuel pump module also contains an internal wiring harness, filter sock and insulator sleeve for a complete assembly.
