This complete set of Long Tube Headers from Hedman includes a pair of headers that fit 1967-1987 2WD or 4WD GM truck with a 283-400 Small Block engine, plus gaskets and hardware! Each header features a smooth-flowing, CNC mandrel-bent design made from elite mild steel.

These Hedman headers (63892) are hand-welded in the USA and are given a Black Maxx satin black ceramic coating that withstands temperatures up to 1,400°F while looking great! They will keep your underhood temperatures lower while letting your exhaust flow freely inside a 1-5/8 inch diameter tube, allowing for better breathing and enhanced torque and horsepower.

These headers fit heads with an L98 profile using an oval cylinder head port shape, and they conveniently include a 3-inch collector, 2-1/2 inch reducers, gaskets, and hardware. As Elite headers, they feature 3/8-inch flanges and thicker 14-gauge primary tubes. Plus, they will give your clutch shaft more clearance when the cross shaft is located under or behind the rear driver side exhaust port.

Additional Notes:
- NOT legal for street use on 1975 and later model years.
- NOT for vehicles with offset engine position.
- Rotary A/C bracket MUST be modified.
- Fits 4WD manual transmission models with hydraulic clutch.
- Does NOT work with slave cylinder.
