This set is part of Hedman’s Black Elite line of headers, which have stout 3/8” flanges and thicker 14-gauge primary tubes, specifically designed to give your classic GM truck upgraded performance. The heavy-duty construction of Hedman Elite Headers makes them ideal for high exhaust temperatures. The Black Elite model features a black ceramic finish that can withstand temperatures up to 1,400 degrees F, keeping temperatures within the tubes for a reduced under hood temperature.

These Long-Tube Headers fit 1967-1987 GM trucks with Small Block Chevy Engines. The smooth 1-5/8” tube design allows a substantial exhaust flow which results in better breathing for your Chevy engine, producing maximum horsepower and torque. Hedman’s gasketless ball-and-socket collector design allows your Small Block Chevy exhaust to be bolted up even without perfect alignment with the Header collectors, making a hassle-free installation.
