IDIDIT Retrofit Tilt Steering Column for Column Shifter and Pinion & Rack Chevy C10 1967-1972

For a tighter, more modern feel to your 1967-1972 Chevy C10’s steering, this IDIDIT tilt column makes for a fine choice. This column complements applications with a 3/4”, 36-spline lower shaft that also have a column shifter plus a pinion and rack. You get all the standard functions like an eight-position tilt, self-canceling turn signals, and integrated four-way flashers. Even a neutral safety switch is built-in for the freedom to use three or four-speed automatic transmissions.

Since the column has a design that’s shorter than OEM, it lessens the angle of the U-joints which leads to reduced stress and smoother steering. Modifications won’t be necessary either because it uses the original under dash and floor mounts to install in the factory location. You can get the column in one of three finishes: a brilliant chrome, sleek black, or steel finish that’s paintable for a wholly custom look!

Additional Notes:
- Shift linkage is required for installation and will attach to the lower shift arm provided on the column.
- The factory joint can be used for the 1967-1972 column. Due to age, the original rag joint may be worn, so please double check that it is in good condition. IDIDIT, INC. always recommends replacing the rag joint.
