J&L Oil Separator Company Clear Anodized Passenger Side 3.0 Oil Separator Kit for 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 GT Mustangs.
Your 2018-2023 GT Mustang has a PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) system that directs the pressure from the crankcase vents back into the intake system. This, unfortunately, allows oil vapors to also pass through and collect in the intake tube, which can result in dilution of your gas and decrease the octane in your fuel, which can affect your Mustang's performance. J&L Oil Separator Company's 3.0 Oil Separator Kit can prevent these adverse effects and ensure your Mustang's performance isn't affected.

This 3.0 oil separator is constructed from high-quality billet aluminum and has a clear anodized finish for a great under the hood look. It features a dual-stage filtering system, so fine oil vapors pass first through a fine mesh stainless steel screen that collects the vapors as they pass, then, once they are heavy enough, they drop to the second filter. The oil droplets pass through a 1/2" thick 1/16" aluminum honeycomb filter. This second filter is where the droplets grow larger and fall into the bottom of the canister. This process prevents the oil vapors from getting to your intake and eliminates them from your system entirely.
A knurled tank base allows for easy disposal of the collected oil, while an O-ring keeps the seal tight to prevent leaks. J&L Oil Separator Co. designs and builds its products in the USA to be a direct-fit upgrade and a plug-and-play install.

This is JLT's 3.0 oil separator fitting your 2018 Mustang GT. Now, the oil separator's job is to keep oil vapor from going back to the PCV system, which can go into the intake and, over time, damage your engine. This will hold three ounces of oil and features a multistage filtration system inside.
To drain the separator, simply grab the bottom and unscrew it, and then you can dump it out. And here, you can see the filtration system inside.
The oil separator is going to be one of the easiest installations you're ever going to do to your car. Now, we removed our engine cover so you can see what I'm doing, but you actually don't have to even do that. You can reach underneath it pretty easily. What you're going to do is remove this line, here. These little gray clips, just push, and it'll pop off.
The JLT separator features the factory-style fittings, making for easy installation. Lock that into place there. Same over here, and your installation is finished.
The JLT oil separator could not be easier to install. I mean, literally, this is a less-than-a-minute installation, to be honest with you. It'll be something to be thankful you have. What I suggest is every time you change your oil, check that as well and drain it out.
Like I said, this is a very good idea for your Mustang, very simple to install. You'll be back on the road in no time.
